Patient Blood Management (PBM) Forum focusing on an Interdisciplinary Approach

Organized from January 19-20, 2024, at the Hilton Hotel at the Zurich Airport in Switzerland.

The forum emphasized case reports along with interdisciplinary introductory lectures.

The discussions were interactive, offering an invaluable opportunity for learning from the presented cases.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

• Participants gained insights into the indications, techniques, and outcomes of patients.

• They aligned with the basic principles of PBM.

• There was a deep dive into the interdisciplinary handling of patients, with a special focus on PBM.

• Management strategies for patients in various scenarios like OR, ICU, Emergency Departments, etc., were thoroughly explored.

HTEA fostered the establishment of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing patient care and outcomes. The event marked another step in continuing to bring together inspired individuals in forums of this nature, ensuring both attendees and HTEA stay at the forefront of educational advancements.
